Abstract

Effective 14 October 2025, Microsoft has ended support for Windows 10. Windows 10 no longer receives free security updates, patches, or technical assistance. Continuing to run on Windows 10 can expose devices to security vulnerabilities and may affect the overall system stability.

What this means for IBM MaaS360 customers

  • Enrolment remains possible

    Devices running on Windows 10 can still enroll in IBM MaaS360 and access the features that are currently supported.

  • Full functionality not guaranteed

    Because Windows 10 is no longer fully supported by Microsoft, we cannot guarantee that every IBM MaaS360 feature will work as intended on this platform.

  • Security risk

    Without Microsoft‑provided updates, Windows 10 devices become increasingly vulnerable to threats.

Recommended actions

Microsoft recommends to upgrade to Windows 11 to continue receiving updates and to maintain security.

You can check your system's eligibility for a free upgrade through Windows Update settings.

Note: IBM MaaS360 currently does not support OS upgrade for Windows devices.
