Abstract
This paper explains in some detail the way in which WAS z/OS makes use of the z/OS Workload Manager (WLM). Most pictures of the WAS z/OS controller / servant region show a single WLM queue, but in fact there may be several. This paper explains this and helps show the power and value of the WAS z/OS platform.
