Beginning with Version 7.1.3, IBM® Tivoli® Storage Manager is now IBM Spectrum Protect™. Some applications such as the software fulfillment systems and IBM License Metric Tool use the new product name. SAIT - Specifies that TSM writes data that uses the SAIT recording format. This format results in a cartridge capacity of 500GB when using SAIT1-500 media.
SAITC - Specifies that TSM writes data that uses the SAITC recording format with compression. This format results in a cartridge capacity of 1300GB (1.3TB) when using SAIT1-500 media.
