Abstract
IBM DB2 extensions of Cloud Pak for Data were added as stand-alone products to the software catalog in License Metric Tool 9.2.21 and 9.2.26. In 9.2.27, these offerings are modeled as Cloud Paks and are no longer available as stand-alone products in the software catalog. If the affected offerings were used in software classification in License Metric Tool 9.2.21 or 9.2.26, the assignments need to be reclassified after you upgrade to application update 9.2.27.

Problem:
IBM DB2 extensions of Cloud Pak for Data were added as stand-alone products to the software catalog in License Metric Tool 9.2.21 and 9.2.26. As a result, it was possible to assign components directly to IBM DB2 extensions of Cloud Pak for Data on the Software Classification panel. Direct assignment might cause that license consumption is miscalculated. In certain situations, these offerings have a fixed conversion ratio from PVU to VPC. To calculate license consumption correctly, the offerings must be modeled as Cloud Paks with conversion ratio properly indicated in the catalog.
